Responsibilities: | ||

To look after the financial affairs of The Bridge Community Church including the preparation of budgets and financial statements. | ||
|
Maintaining the property. | ||
|
Assess and address the practical needs of the people attending The Bridge. | ||
| You may want to speak to a deacon on any of the following items: | |||
|
Helping to maintain the building or property, or with special or regular events. | ||
|
Need offering envelopes. | ||
|
Would like to make a gift of some other kind. | ||
| How do men or women become deacons? | ||
|
The names of potential deacons are submitted to the membership by the board of directors and the visionaries. | |
|
Deacons require a 75% vote from the membership at the annual meeting. | |
|
Deacons serve for one three year term and then must take at least one year off. | |
